NWO/COSMOS Inquiry Series
The NWO/COSMOS Inquiry Series is a highly popular professional development opportunity in the region, with K-12 pre-service and in-service teachers, graduate students, school administrators, and higher education faculty learning and collaborating together in a variety of monthly forums.
NWO Symposium
Northwest Ohio’s premier professional development symposium on Science, Mathematics and Technology Teaching and Learning. This event offers the invaluable opportunity for P-16 teachers to share and learn from one another in our common effort to advance science and mathematics education for people of all ages.
NWO Future Teacher Conference
The Future Teacher Conference is an annual gathering of local master teachers, who present their triumphs and struggles in the classroom, and share tips on how to be an effective educator with pre-service teachers.
NWO OJSHS
The purpose of the Ohio Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (OJSHS) is for high school students to learn about the scientific process and to meet and visit with new students interested in science. The OJSHS program for young scientists is unique because each year a high school student from Ohio has the opportunity to win more than $17,000 in college scholarships and to represent the United States at an international science meeting held in London, England.
