For student delegates:

The Ohio JSHS encourages secondary school students (student delegates) to attend the symposium to interact with students who performed scientific research. There will be a registration fee of $25 for each student delegate. This fee will go into the general operating fund and will pay for a small percentage of the costs incurred to run the program. The students are not expected to pay the $25 themselves. Students should solicit a local sponsor, such as the Kiwanis or the Rotary Club, to help pay the fee. The symposium will pay for the hotel room charges (Wednesday and Thursday nights) and for all meals.

Student delegates (maximum of 4 per school not including paper and poster presenters) must be accompanied by a teacher from their school and must submit the registration form by the registration deadline. (Note: Student delegate cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to the symposium. Otherwise, the school will be charged with meals and hotel charges for those delegates canceling after that date and/or for no-shows).

For teachers:

The Ohio JSHS encourages secondary school students (delegates) and their teachers to attend the symposium to interact with students who performed scientific research. There will be a registration fee of $25 for each student delegate but not for the teachers. The symposium will pay for the teachers' $25 registration fee, hotel room charges (Wednesday and Thursday nights) and for all meals. Teacher delegates (maximum of 2 per school) may bring up to 4 student delegates (not including paper and poster presenters) and must submit the registration form by the registration deadline. (Note: Teacher cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to the symposium. Otherwise, the school will be charged with meals and hotel charges for those delegates canceling after that date and/or for no-shows).
